Does homeowners insurance cover pool cage screen damage?

Should I repair the cage myself before the adjuster sees it?

It depends on how far it has gone. Minor bowing in a single member can often be straightened or that member swapped out. A cage that is leaning or has separated at multiple connections needs a structural assessment first.
